Shelby
Duffy Benton
received her undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University in 1982 and Juris Doctorate from Campbell University School of Law in 1985. Since 1991 she has focused her practice on family law and in 1995 she became a Board Certified Family Law Specialist. She is one of two board certified family law specialists in the Eight Judicial District (Wayne, Lenoir, and Green Counties.) Family law includes issues of child custody and support, separation agreements, premarital agreements, division of marital property, post-separation support, alimony, divorce and adoption.
Jean P. Hollowell
received her undergraduate degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from Penn State University in 1974. She received her Juris Doctorate in 1982 from Campbell University School of Law. Prior to graduating from law school she was a high school Spanish teacher, has lived in Mexico and Central America and speaks fluent Spanish. Her practice includes residential and commercial real estate transactions (including refinances), wills, estates, trusts, contracts, partnerships, corporations and civil litigation.
